VOSTA™ is an Australian company with more than 10 years' experience in supplying automotive products online and retail. We have strategic alliances with leading product suppliers and manufacture our very own exclusive products.

VOSTA recliner seats come with ADR-approved tags and Australian Design Rule 3/03 documentation for road legality.

Yes, our seats are designed to fit most cars universally. They can be used on either side, as there is no left or right.

You will need our VOSTA Seat Adapters. If your vehicle is not on our adapter page, you can purchase our Universal Adapters The metal tabs provided on each Universal adapter must be welded to fit your vehicle's specific factory floor bolt holes.

The order should be placed in the following sequence:

  • Seat/rails
  • Seat adapter
  • That’s it! :)

All vehicles aren't internally manufactured the same. You can simply weld and customise our universal adapters to suit your desired seat height and overall seat position.

Fitment & Installation

Will these seats fit my car?

Fitment depends on your vehicle and the correct rail or mounting solution. We supply universal seats with vehicle-specific rails for many popular models. Send us your make, model and year and we’ll confirm the correct setup before you purchase.

Do I need rails or adapters?

Yes. Reclinable seats require vehicle-specific rails. Fixed-back seats require a base and side-mount setup. Using the correct mounting hardware ensures proper alignment and seating height.

Do they bolt straight in?

With the correct vehicle-specific rails, installation is typically a direct bolt-in using factory mounting points.

Will they sit higher or lower than factory?

With standard rails, seating height is close to OEM. Low-rail options are available for vehicles with limited headroom.

Will they fit with a roll cage?

In most builds, yes. Clearance depends on cage design and door bar placement. Contact us with your setup and we’ll guide you.

Can I use my existing rails?

Only if the mounting pattern matches. Reclinable seats use bottom-mount patterns, while fixed seats use side mounts. We can confirm compatibility from photos or measurements.

ADR & Compliance

Are these ADR approved?

Our ADR-compliant reclining seats are supplied with ADR 3/03 certification and tags. Fixed-back motorsport seats are generally intended for track or off-road use unless engineered.

Do they come with paperwork?

Yes. ADR seats are supplied with compliance documentation and ADR tags.

Can I run these in a car with airbags?

We do not sell airbag-compliant seats. Some customers use airbag resistor solutions, however this modifies factory systems and may require engineering approval.

Will I need engineering?

Engineering requirements vary by state and vehicle. Newer vehicles may require certification if factory safety systems are removed.

Sizing & Comfort

I’m not sure which size will suit me.

Most standard models suit approximately a 28–36” waist. Larger builds may require wider models. Contact us with your height and waist size and we’ll recommend the right option.

What’s the hip width?

Each seat model has different internal dimensions. We can provide exact measurements on request.

Are SR3 tighter than SR4?

Yes. SR3-style seats are tighter through the bolsters. SR4-style seats offer a slightly wider and more forgiving fit while maintaining strong support.

Are these comfortable for daily driving?

Yes. Our reclinable seats are designed for both daily use and spirited driving.

Do they recline?

Reclinable models feature manual recline adjustment. Fixed-back seats do not recline.

Seat Types & Differences

What’s the difference between fixed and reclinable seats?

Fixed-back seats are lighter and designed for motorsport use. Reclinable seats offer greater comfort and practicality for street-driven vehicles.

What’s the difference between the VOSTA R1 and Recaro RS-G?

The VOSTA R1 is a lightweight dry-carbon motorsport seat with IHRA approval. The RS-G is a fixed-back street/track seat with a different shell design and fit profile.

Are these genuine Recaro seats?

We clearly list genuine Recaro models separately from VOSTA seats. Product listings identify the brand clearly.

Shipping & Stock

Are the seats in stock?

If listed as available online, they are in stock. If marked as pre-order, the estimated arrival date will be shown.

When will Black Alcantara be back?

Black Alcantara is our most popular trim and regularly sells out. Contact us for the latest shipment ETA.

How long does shipping take?

Metro east coast deliveries are typically 3–5 business days. WA and regional areas may take longer.

Can I pick up?

Yes. Pickup is available from our Capalaba warehouse during business hours.

Do you ship to New Zealand?

Yes. We can provide a freight quote prior to dispatch.

Mounting Height & Positioning

Will I lose headroom?

Not with the correct rail setup. Low-rail options are available for tighter vehicles such as FD RX7, EK Civic and S-chassis.

Do they sit higher than OEM?

Standard rails are designed to match factory height. Low rails reduce seating position further.

Will I need low rails?

For taller drivers or track builds, low rails are often recommended.

Motorsport & Harness Compatibility

Do your seats support 4, 5 or 6-point harnesses?

Yes. Fixed-back seats and selected reclinable models support multi-point harness systems.

Are they HANS compatible?

The VOSTA R1 and similar fixed-back models are compatible with head and neck restraint systems.

Are they IHRA approved?

The VOSTA R1 Carbon is IHRA approved.

Returns & Pre-Purchase Support

Can I return them if they don’t fit?

We recommend confirming fitment before purchase. Returns are accepted in unused condition in accordance with our returns policy.

I’m interstate and want to get it right first time.

Send us your vehicle details and we’ll confirm the correct seat and rail combination before you order.
