ADR Approved 3/04 SPS (FRP) SEAT
Our Chief Engineer is responsible for conducting all mandated compliance tests related to forward-facing seating systems in M1 category vehicles, as per applicable standards and regulations.
- ADR 3/04 Appendix A Clause 6.4 – Headrest Test
- ADR 3/04 Appendix A Clause 6.2 – Rearward Moment Test
- ADR 3/04 Clause 6.5 and Appendix A Clause 6.3 – COG Testing
Ensuring the build quality and overall safety of every seat we manufacture is our highest priority.
ADR SPS RIGID TESTING
Our seats meet the requirements of Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 3/04 – Seats and Seat Anchorages)
Testing Actual Final Load applied to headrest = 94kgf = 94 x 9.81ms-2 = 922N (at 0.755m = 696Nm). This load was held for at least 5 seconds, with no breakage observed.

ADR Approved 3/04 SPD SEAT
Our Chief Engineer is responsible for conducting all mandated compliance tests related to forward-facing seating systems in M1 category vehicles, as per applicable standards and regulations.
- ADR 3/04 Appendix A Clause 6.4 – Headrest Test
- ADR 3/04 Appendix A Clause 6.2 – Rearward Moment Test
- ADR 3/04 Clause 6.5 and Appendix A Clause 6.3 – COG Testing
Ensuring the build quality and overall safety of every seat we manufacture is our highest priority.
ADR SPD RIGID TESTING
Our seats meet the requirements of Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 3/04 – Seats and Seat Anchorages)
As per clause 6.3 of Appendix A, this test requires a load of 20 times the weight of the seat through the COG of the seat. As per Clause 6.5 of ADR 3/04, this test can be applied as a static test load.

All adapters that require a seatbelt must comply and be tested as part of your vehicle's overall structure for ADR 05/06 regarding COG and seatbelt anchorages.

ADR APPROVED 05/06 Adapters
Our experienced engineers rigorously test our seats, seat adapters, and seatbelt holders to ensure their strength and integrity meet Australian ADR 5/06 standards.
- ADR 5/06 Appendix A Clause 6.4 – Forward COG and Seatbelt Anchorage Test
- As per Clauses 6.4.4.2 and 6.4.4
All tests are conducted for forward-facing seats according to the requirements of ADRs 3/04 and 5/06 within the M1 vehicle category.
ADR EYK RIGID TESTING
Our Vosta EYK adapters meet the (ADR) Australian Design Rule 5/06 – Forward COG and Seatbelt Anchorage Test
COG load: 20g = 20x20x9.81 = 3924N Required Torso Ram Load = 13500 + 2 (0.32) (3924) = 16011N Required Pelvic Ram Load = 13500 + 2 (0.68) (3924) = 18837N
