What it means, why it matters for your roadworthy, and what's included with every VOSTA seat.
ADR 3/04: Seats and Seat Anchorages. Every seat we sell is tested to ADR 3/04 + 5/06 for forward-facing seats in M1 vehicles.
ADR 5/06: Seatbelt Anchorages. Our car-specific adapter plates are tested to Appendix A, Clause 6.4.
Every seat we sell is ADR approved, with paperwork included with every seat.
An aftermarket seat has to hold you in a crash, not just through a corner. ADR testing checks the seat and its anchorages against the same rules as factory seats, so a VOSTA seat can go in a road-registered car with paperwork to back it up.

A car-specific plate tested to ADR 5/06 that bolts to your factory mounts. The universal adapter is ADR approved as supplied*, but most cars need it fitted to suit.
Bolt the adapter to the rails, then into the car. Keeps the original seatbelt.
*Any modification to an adapter (cutting, drilling or welding) voids its ADR approval, so check your state's modification rules or speak to an engineer before fitting. Our car-specific adapters bolt straight in with no modification.
R1 seats have been IHRA Australia approved for years, for use across IHRA-sanctioned tracks: drag, roll racing, drifting and circuit.
